Georgia May Jagger’s May Botanicals pauses operations after three years

The British Supermodel revealed on social media that she has made the ‘personal decision to pause May Botanicals’, the organic skin care line she launched in 2023

Georgia May Jagger’s beauty brand May Botanicals is pausing operations after three years.

The British supermodel and businesswoman launched her organic skin care collection in 2023, which included a hydrating cleanser, moisturiser, spot treatment, multi-purpose balm and seaweed sheet mask.

Jagger, who is also co-owner of hair care brand Bleach London, revealed the news of May Botanicals’ “pause” on Instagram on 27 July.

“After three incredible years, I have made the personal decision to pause May Botanicals,” said Jagger in the post.

“This was not an easy decision, but it is the right one for me at this time as I focus on my family, my modelling career, and my other business, Bleach London.

“Building May Botanicals has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, both personally and professionally.

“From the very beginning I created this brand with the belief that skin care could be both beautiful and responsible, and I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved.

“To everyone who has supported May Botanicals, our customers, community, team, and everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you.”

For UK-based customers, the last day to shop May Botanicals is 9 August.

However, Jagger said this is not “goodbye”, adding, “my passion for ethical, sustainable skin care remains as strong as ever, and I am excited to see where the next chapter leads”.

The tough economic challenges from last year have bled into the industry in 2026, with several beauty brands announcing closures and administration troubles.

Adwoa Beauty, the prestige textured hair care brand, has entered liquidation after filing for bankruptcy, while AS Beauty has closed both CoverFX and Mally Beauty.

Plus, singer Gwen Stefani’s cosmetics line Gxve Beauty is rumoured to have closed after four years.
