Hemp seed oil used in personal care is one of the most on-trend natural ingredients making headway across body, bath, shower and cosmetics product ranges. According to the Hemp Business Journal[1], US consumers spent US$181m on hemp-based personal care products in 2017 and this is projected to grow up to $260m by 2022.

Both hemp seed oil and cannabidiol (CBD) oils are very popular at the moment with the latter mostly known for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. This has helped to position hemp seed oil as the ‘go-to’ ingredient for natural beauty and bath products, especially in skin care.
