Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has celebrated a milestone in its support of the UK breast cancer charity Future Dreams, as the beauty giant announced US$15m of funding for research into the disease.

Actress Elizabeth Hurley, Global Ambassador for the ELC Breast Cancer Campaign, and television host Amanda Holden were among the guests who attended the Future Dreams ‘Future 5’ Lunch on 24 September, celebrating the beauty company’s five-year anniversary of supporting the charity.

ELC has donated £1m to Future Dreams House since 2019, helping it refurbish its specialist breast cancer centre in London, UK, which opened in 2021, and provides essential support to those touched by breast cancer.

It has also hosted events in support of the charity, including the latest ‘Future 5’ Lunch, held at The Savoy Hotel, London, which raised £360,000 to help the charity continue its work supporting those with breast cancer over the next five years.

“We are incredibly proud to be part of this amazing, amazing partnership, and we have been with them since inception,” Pernilla Nyberg, SVP/GM, The Estée Lauder Companies UK&I, told Cosmetics Business.
