Emily in Paris star Lily Collins has invested in Rōz, the hair care brand from celebrity stylist Mara Roszak.

The actress was part of an “oversubscribed” seed funding round led by private equity firms Silas Capital and G9 Ventures.

Collins joins previous celebrity angel investors including Mila Kunis, Daisy Ridley and Zoe Saldana, who invested during an earlier ‘friends-and-family’ investment round.

The money will be used to fuel the brand’s retail expansion plans and improve its presence in the professional beauty sector, according to Rōz.

“The growth and momentum of the business has been extraordinary, and the enthusiastic response to our product formulations from both professionals and clients has been nothing short of remarkable,” said Roszak.

“Rōz is my greatest passion, and having growth partners who share my excitement and understand my vision is a dream come true.”

Roszak will also use the investment to expand the brand’s team and for new product development.

Rōz currently stocks eight products including the Root Lift Spray, Milk Hair Serum and the Santa Lucia Styling Oil.

"Mara has rapidly built one of the most sought-after brands in the hair care category," added Brian Thorne, Partner at Silas Capital.

“With its award-winning line of clean, easy-to-use hair essentials that deliver professional-level performance, we believe this expert-led brand uniquely addresses a clear whitespace in the market.

Roszak is the stylist for A-list celebrities including Emma Stone, Olivia Wilde, Natalie Portman, Nicole Kidman and Kristen Wiig.

She founded Rōz in 2021 and is currently stocked in Credo, Neiman Marcus, Goop and Revolve.
