Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has named Madeleine Boyd as Senior VP Global Brand Communications, effective 20 July 2026.
ELC claimed Boyd’s appointment will strengthen the way its brands connect with consumers, with the new executive establishing and leading an integrated Global Brand Communications team.
Within the role, Boyd will also aim to strengthen creator engagement, helping the company’s brands, such as Clinique and Jo Malone London, gain attention across social media.

“Madeleine brings a powerful combination of strategic communications expertise, cultural fluency, and a deep understanding of today’s beauty consumer,” said Meridith Webster, Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer, ELC.
Boyd is said to bring experience in brand strategy, communications, consumer engagement, and cultural insights gained across several beauty, luxury, and lifestyle roles.
Most recently, she served as Global Senior VP, Beauty and Wellness at global agency group Together Group, where she led the Group’s Beauty and Wellness division.
Before this, Boyd spent seven years at luxury communications agencies Karla Otto, serving as Senior Vice President, Global Beauty and Wellness.
Webster added: “As we continue to evolve how our brands engage consumers and shape conversations globally, Madeleine will lead a best-in-class Global Brand Communications organisation that elevates our storytelling, strengthens collaboration across our portfolio, and helps our brands earn relevance, resonance, and long-term desirability.”
Boyd’s appointment follows ELC reportedly bolstering its fragrance portfolio in North America by establishing a new Fragrance Cluster in the market.
This will be spearheaded by newly appointed SVP Vérane de Marffy, according to a report by WWD, who will also serve as GM of Fragrances, North America.
He is tasked with driving perfume growth for ELC, directly managing the Kilian Paris and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle brands.
