Dior Beauty has named celebrity facialist Sarah Akram its Skincare Expert and Ambassador for the US.
The renowned aesthetician will develop skin care and spa experiences for the luxury beauty brand in America, as well as create educational content.
Akram was chosen because of her “modern point of view” and “best-in-class skin care treatments,” read a statement from Dior.
She will also incorporate Dior treatments and products into her luxury clinic, Sarah Akram Skincare, in Virginia.
Akram, who has more than two decades of industry experience, is “honoured” to join Dior Beauty’s global roster of experts.
“Somebody please pinch me – [I] still can not believe this is happening,” Akram posted on Instagram.
“Dior is a brand I have always dreamt of working with.
“I am thrilled to lend my expertise as a master aesthetician to such an iconic brand.”
Dior is not the only beauty brand to partner with a celebrity facialist lately.
Victoria Beckham Beauty has teamed up with aesthetician Melaine Grant to launch a cleansing duo which has been two years in the making.
