R&D is a critical aspect of pushing the boundaries of product development.

And THG Labs’ recent partnership with Clean Food Group (CFG) is a particularly inspiring endeavour.

We are combining our expertise to tackle one of the most pressing problems the beauty industry faces today, sustainability, through a revolutionary new ingredient: CleanOil.

Beauty’s sustainability challenge

Consumers, brands and regulators are calling for a more sustainable approach to beauty, and the industry must evolve to meet these demands.

The difficulty, however, is that many cosmetic ingredients are derived from agriculture, which often requires extensive land, water and energy consumption.

The result is a supply chain that is not only resource-heavy but also highly susceptible to environmental and geopolitical disruptions.

At THG Labs, we’ve been proactively seeking solutions to this dilemma.
