Christophe Robin harnesses the power of antioxidant vitamins for new Color Shield collection
At the centre of the new product formulas is the camu camu plant, which is said to contain 40 times more vitamin C than an orange
Premium hair care brand Christophe Robin has harnessed the power of antioxidant vitamins for its new Color Shield range.
The protecting duo is designed to combat the harmful effects of the colouring process and shield the hair from everyday oxidative stresses, such as pollution, chlorine and artificial heat.
At the heart of the formulas is a close relative to the guavaberry and rumberry, the camu camu plant, which is said to contain 40 times more vitamin C than an orange, according to Christophe Robin.
The new Color Shield shampoo’s acidity levels are said to seal the hair cuticle to prevent colour loss and protect from hard water.
Meanwhile, the brand’s Color Shield mask works to boost the effectiveness of the shampoo, and its combination of active ingredients are claimed to repair and strengthen coloured hair.
Its concentrated levels of macadamia oil and fatty acids coat the hair in a protective film to seal in nutrition at the core of the fibre.
The products retail from £29.
