Arkive Headcare, the hair care brand founded by celebrity hair stylist Adam Reed, has partnered with England rugby club Saracens Women as its official ‘Self Care’ partner.
The collaboration intends to create shared social value and visibility for women in sport through content that combines “self-expression, connection and care”.
“Mental wellbeing has always been at the centre of Arkive Headcare,” said Reed.
“Partnering with pioneering players of Saracens Women, who I deeply admire, brings [Arkive] Headcare to life in a space that celebrates authenticity, empowerment and community – refining what [Arkive] Headcare truly means in sport.”
Saracens Women featured in the 2025 World Champion Red Roses, and their team includes Zoe Harrison, Jess Breach and ‘World Player of the Year’ Sophie de Goede.
The rugby club spoke to the importance of the partnership, stating the team was “no strangers to resilience and redefining stereotypes”.
Flo Williams, Creative Director at Saracens, added: “As Saracens enter a new era, shaping a brand that reaches beyond rugby, we are proud to partner with Arkive Headcare – a modern, culturally relevant brand that is on a mission to do things differently.
“Arkive’s focus on supporting the whole person perfectly aligns with the identity of our women’s team, proud to celebrate who they are both on and off the pitch.
“Together we are excited to create content that celebrates our evolved brand and the individuality of our players, and not to mention, never needing to remember to shampoo and conditioner for post-match again.”
The partnership follows beauty’s continued support for the sporting industry, with rugby the latest team sport to be tackled.
This has seen beauty enter the sport through brand ambassadors, club partnerships and tournament sponsorship deals, adding a new element to rugby’s commercial arms.
Clinique became the first-ever Beauty Partner of England’s women’s rugby team, the Red Roses, in July, taking its beauty-sports initiatives to an “elite level”.
The British Beauty Council also named British rugby player Tatyana Heard as its debut Sports Ambassador during the organisation's British Beauty Week 2025 in October.
Heard is a member of the England women's national rugby union team and plays for Gloucester-Hartpury in the Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR).
