Carsten Knobel named Henkel financial director

Carsten Knobel, 42, currently responsible for financial management with the cosmetics and body care products division of the Henkel group, has been named to succeed Lothar Steinebach as financial director on the main board in mid-2012 when Mr Steinebach retires. Mr Knobel has been with the group for some 16 years and took over control and marketing in the cosmetics division in 1998. He was responsible for organising the integration of Dial of the USA in 2004.
