Natural beauty brand Burt’s Bees has introduced its first playlist to help consumers beat lockdown blues.
The new ‘Nature Break’ playlist is said to bring nature inside with a host of sounds to help listeners relax.
The line-up includes sounds of birds singing, waterfalls, thunderstorms and coyotes howling.
“Being in and around nature not only makes us feel better emotionally, it also contributes to our physical wellbeing,” said Gemma Kennedy Assistant Brand Manager at Burt’s Bees.
“At Burt’s, we wanted to help people realise the proven health benefits of nature and provide inspiration and resources to bring nature into their lives during these uncertain and restricted times.
“Partnering with Spotify has been a fantastic way to help connect people to the sounds of nature.”
The series has been launched as part of the brand’s Vitamin N (N for nature) content series, inspired by Richard’s Louv’s novel Vitamin N.
As part of the series, the brand shares insights on the health benefits of nature.
Kennedy added: “At the moment with all the uncertainty around us, we could all use a nature break to get the relaxing and restorative benefits of nature at home.”
During the coronavirus lockdown, sales of many self-care products have rocketed in the UK.
Premium nail care products were up 12% during March and doubled for the week beginning 23 March, up 24% in the same period in 2019.
