Beiersdorf poised to usher in a new era
Revamp for Nivea maker
Strong sales growth for Nivea maker Beiersdorf, worth 7.2% more after currency swings, has seen the German company award CEO Stefan Heidenreich with a five year contract extension.
Sales are up 1.7% to €6.14bn, though this sales rise has been dampened by the climbing euro. Some improvement had been there for the taking for some time: Europe is edging (slowly) out of recession and Beiersdorf has revamped much of its Nivea franchise.
