The 2013 edition of Beautyworld Middle East opened today with 23 international pavilions and 1,096 exhibitors, a 32% increase on the number at 2012’s event. The three-day exhibition and conference, which is currently taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, was inaugurated by Raja Easa Al Gurg, President of the Dubai Business Women Council, and Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Fahim, CEO of the Paris Gallery Group of Companies, among others.
New for this year’s event is the Beautyworld Middle East Boutique area, which focuses on high-end niche products and within this is the Elements installation, a selection of exclusive exhibitors from the original New York showcase, who will be launching their own unique fragrances throughout the show.
“Being situated in one of the most dynamic international markets for beauty and wellbeing, Beautyworld Middle East has grown to its present international structure by being successful in bringing the best of the beauty world in touch with the widely varying markets across the region,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “As the market continues to grow and develop in the future, Beautyworld Middle East will continue to evolve to keep pace with industry requirements.”
