US-based Swiss cosmetics brand Arbonne has hired Jean-David Schwartz as its new International CEO.
The announcement follows former CEO Kay Zanotti’s decision to retire after nine years at the helm.
Schwartz joins Arbonne from French parent company Groupe Rocher, which acquired the brand back in March with plans to expand its direct selling strategy.
He said: “I am now excited to lead a new journey at Arbonne, to work to evolve and expand the brand and ensure that the next stage is the best one yet.”
Schwartz brings 15 years of industry experience, three of which were spent at cosmetics company Yves Rocher serving at General Manager.
He also spent four years in the pharmaceutical sector as General Manager of Tridem Pharma, which exports products on behalf of large international laboratories, including Johnson & Johnson.
Schwartz continued: “I am confident that we can turn the steady growth into truly extraordinary results. We want to focus on sharing Arbonne’s mission of healthy living inside and out in bigger and broader ways than ever before.”
Astrid Van Ruymbeke and Vincent Taglioni from Groupe Rocher will join Arbonne as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations respectively, both of whom have been with the company for over a decade.
