Algaktiv combines pharma grade liposomes with patented marine biopolymer coating for optimal dermal penetration and excellent stability. Thanks to their technology they have been able to develop many skincare solutions, including their latest: retinART. This is able to mimic Retinol’s performance in the skin without causing some of its side effects like irritation thanks to its partial and selective RAR receptor modulation biologically.

Products

RetinART is a marine bio-retinol derived from Mediterranean microalgae that is designed to give all of the benefits of Retinol but none of the irritation.

RetinART has proven to beat 0.3% Retinol and 1% Bakuchiol in head-to-head clinical studies. Its retinol-like mechanism of action has also shown to have synergistic efficacy when combined with only 0.1% Retinol, beating a 0.5% Retinol cream in repairing and soothing photo-aged skin.
