Asia continues to offer lucrative opportunities for the beauty industry, from ingredients suppliers to finished product manufacturers. At the recent in-cosmetics Asia event, Asia’s beauty industry descended on Bangkok’s BITEC to see the latest innovations and trends in cosmetics and personal care.

The 2013 edition saw a 16% increase in visitors on the previous year, making it a record breaking event, according to organiser Reed Exhibitions. The show attracted 6,700 visitors from across the Asian region, with 38% of attendees classified as international (2,285) compared to just 18% in 2012. The show also attracted 360 exhibitors from 30 countries, who showcased over 240 new ingredient concepts.
