YZY Fragrances – a Florida, US, maker of perfumes, colognes and body mists – has received a platform investment from private equity firm Boyne Capital.
An affiliate of Boyne Capital has invested in the fragrance company, marking its first step into beauty, with the terms of the deal not being disclosed.
The partnership intends to support YZY Fragrances’ growth through expanded distribution, brand development and product innovation.

“Their resources, operational experience, and shared commitment to our customers and team will help accelerate our innovation pipeline, expand our footprint with both existing and new partners, and further elevate the YZY portfolio.”
YZY Fragrances designs, formulates, manufactures and distributes a portfolio of fragrance products under brands, such as Territoire, Acqua di Parisis and Insurrection.
The company claims its products are made with perfume oils specifically designed to deliver distinctive scent profiles, along with bottle design and brand presentation.
YZY Fragrances was founded in 1986 by Yehuda Shechter and is headquartered in Miami.

Boyne Capital, founded in 2006, is also headquartered in Florida, and is focused on investments in lower middle market companies.
