Danielle Marsh is a vocalist and dancer for South Korean girl group NewJeans
Danielle Marsh, a member of the South Korean girl group NewJeans, has been named as YSL Beauty’s new brand ambassador.
The vocalist and dancer will feature in a series of promotional campaigns for the L'Oréal-owned beauty brand.
Her debut photoshoot showed off the brand’s Candy Glaze Lip Gloss.
“Please stay tuned for perfect synergy with Danielle and YSL Beauty,” NewJeans posted on Instagram.
Marsh, née Mo Ji Hye, has served as brand ambassador of luxury house Burberry since January 2023.
The appointment comes after Armani Beauty appointed NewJeans dancer Hanni as its new global make-up ambassador in February 2023.
The 18-year-old, née Phạm Ngọc Hân, also serves as the lyricist for New Jeans.
Hanni was pictured wearing the My Armani To Go Cushion foundation in shade 2, as well as the Lip Maestro lip lacquer, as part of the campaign’s debut imagery.
“Hanni is a very young artist with a great expressive power and an irresistible and captivating individuality: a contrast that I find interesting,” said founder Giorgio Armani at the time.
New Jeans was formed by Ador, a subsidiary of South Korean multinational entertainment company Hybe Corporation, in 2022.
The group is composed of five members including Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein, which released their debut single ‘Attention’ in July last year.
Earlier this year YSL Beauty also appointed Lila Moss as its new US brand ambassador.
Moss has fronted a number make-up campaigns to promote YSL Beauty’s Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick, Lash Clash Mascara and Rouge Volupté Candy Glaze Lip Gloss.
The brand said it chose the daughter of British supermodel Kate Moss to pay tribute to its heritage as well as celebrate the next generation.
