The leading perfume and cosmetics manufacturer in Spain is Catalonia-based Group Puig. Indeed, two subsidiaries of the organisation (Antonio Puig SA and Puig SL) come in first and third place for revenues, according to a ranking published last autumn by El Economista. The second spot is occupied by L’Oréal, the research finds. The top ten companies in perfumes and cosmetics account for around 80% of sales, or some €2.5bn.
