The beauty and personal care industry is a global powerhouse, projected to generate revenue of more than US$677bn in 2025, according to Statista. 

It is also well-watched and influential, and responds to the demands of a customer base that expects their favourite brands to keep up with important cultural shifts.

In the age of social media and beauty influencers, the sector has made impressive progress on inclusivity, ingredient safety, and product performance. 

Packaging is the next frontier. 

Today’s shoppers are not just asking what is in their favourite products, they are paying close attention to what those products are packaged in.
