Luxury beauty brand Valmont has introduced its debut line of microbiome skin care products.
The 5-sku Primary range is formulated around pre and probiotics, and is designed to help ‘stabalise skin’s ecosystem’; it is said to be easily incorporated into consumers’ current skin care routines.
Each product has been blended with three key ingredients: Lactobacillus pentosus, a lactic bacterium; provitamin B5, also known as panthenol; and fructo-oligosaccharides, which are prebiotic sugars.
Together these ingredients are designed to fortify the epidermis and its stratum microbium to protect against environmental aggressors.
The collection features a prepping mist, blemish treatment, anti-redness repairing serum, smoothing cream and replenishing balm to deeply nourish skin (from US$118).
Valmont is also continuing its philanthropic partnership with the One Drop Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing clean water to people around the world.
It will donate $5 of each product sold in the first three months of the launch to the organisation.
