Timeless Skin Care is ramping up its sustainability efforts by partnering with recycling giant TerraCycle.
Consumers across the US can now return their empty Timeless products to be recycled, which the skin care brand hopes will result in up to half a million additional containers being recycled.
To participate, consumers across the US can visit the brand's website and complete a form to receive a free envelope and mailing label.
They can then fill the envelope with up to three Timeless products and mail it to TerraCycle free of charge, where it will be collected and recycled by the waste management company.
Eligible products include the brand's Eye Serums, Hydrating HA Sprays and its 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum.
Veronica Pedersen, Timeless CEO and co-founder, said: "We are committed to minimising our carbon footprint through initiatives like TerraCycle.
“Sustainability, along with clean, concise formulas, is very important to our customers.
“TerraCycle is the perfect partner to assist us in continuing our efforts to care for the health of our skin and the planet.”
Timeless follows a growing line-up of other beauty and personal care brands who have partnered with TerraCycle on sustainability initiatives, including Baylis & Harding and Living Proof.
Operating in 21 countries across the globe, today TerraCycle recycles more than 97% of the waste it collects, according to the company.
