The demand for clean, natural, and organic beauty products continues to grow exponentially across Scandinavia. According to a recent survey by Statista, the revenue generated by companies in the organic skin and beauty care industry in Sweden amounted to 190 million Swedish kronor in 2017.

As of 2020, the revenue peaked at 410 million Swedish kronor and is expected to increase to 900 million Swedish kronor in 2025.

As the market grows alongside the appetite for face-to-face business again, Eco Life Scandinavia is perfectly timed to deliver what’s new and next in the world of natural and organic beauty for thousands of retailers and buyers across Scandinavia.

Returning to MalmöMässan on the 17- 18 November 2021, Eco Life Scandinavia will feature 70+ natural beauty exhibitors within the show’s dedicated Natural Health & Beauty Scandinavia area.

Well established brands and exciting new start-ups will be there to showcase their latest natural, organic, free-from and clean label beauty products– including skin care, hair care, make-up and personal care.

‘Making our society more sustainable’

Big names in the industry like Natrue, Faith in Nature, Splat, Sowco and Maria Åkerberg will be returning to the long-awaited show with their latest offering. And for the first time, sustainable beauty pioneer Weleda, will be joining the show – plus Nordic Beauty Bar, Cosmetic Province, BeTheSkyGirl and FillRefill have also been confirmed.

Beauty experts

The event is not only limited to a packed show floor; The show’s dedicated Beauty Theatre will also feature an extensive keynote programme full of expert speakers sharing insights, reports, and inspiring talks on a range of topics affecting the industry today.

Anders Tengelin, managing director of Weleda Nordics will take to the stage to discuss and share their knowledge of consumers views on sustainable skin care and the development of Weleda’s work with sustainable skin care.

Emma Bergqvist, founder & owner of Tree of Brands AB - and president of NOC Sweden - will also be delivering a talk about the future of natural and organic cosmetics in Sweden.

Diana Malcangi, external scientific and regulatory consultant at Natrue will be talking about the pertinent issues surrounding the pandemic’s impact on the natural beauty industry. Iveta Kovacova (Ecovia Intelligence) and Ewa Daniél (AllergyCertified) have also been confirmed.

A whole new world of clean beauty

A big draw for the show is the variation of brands from around the world. This year, the Natural Health and Beauty area will feature pavilions from France, Poland and Korea.

Visitors can see and sample the latest beauty products and trends from these regions – including the infamous K-beauty trend; a trend that has inspired many beauty innovations today.

South Korea is one of the top 10 beauty markets in the world, representing nearly 2.8% of the global market. In 2019, the market size was estimated to be $9.4 billion; the total local production and total exports increased approximately 4.9 percent and 4.2 percent respectively from the previous year.
