Mark Curry (pictured left), co-founder of The Inkey List, has taken back the reins as company CEO.
He succeeds Stephanie Davis Michelman, who has stepped down from the British skin care brand with “immediate effect” after one year in the role.
“Mark Curry will become CEO of the beauty brand after stepping back from leading the company,” read a statement from The Inkey List.
“Curry looks forward to returning as leader during the brand’s next growth phase.”
Curry, who co-founded The Inkey List in 2018 with Colette Laxton (pictured right), was CEO until Michelman joined the company in 2023.
Michelman, previously Global Chief Marketing Officer at make-up brand Benefit Cosmetics, was tasked with bolstering The Inkey List’s sales and international reach.
She also “supported the professionalisation of the business and its geographic expansion,” read a statement from The Inkey List.
During Michelman’s tenure, Curry and Laxton remained on as Executive Directors of the company to focus on innovation and creative strategies.
Laxton will continue in her role overseeing brand guardianship and consumer direction.
The Inkey List has been expanding its remit over the past year, having broken into the spot patch and lip care categories.
The beauty company aims to demystify cosmetics jargon via an affordable skin care offering.
