Jules von Hep joins Solskin’s board to help grow the UK self-tan brand

Jules von Hep, the tanning expert, body confidence advocate and Pure Beauty Awards judge, has joined Solskin’s board to help the three-year-old UK self-tan business scale up.

He brings  20 years of experience as a spray tanner, brand founder and consultant to the family-run tanning and skin care brand, which offers formulas for sensitive, eczema-prone and reactive skin types.

Von Hep’s appointment to Solskin’s board marks his return to the tanning world after departing his own brand, Isle of Paradise, more than a year ago.

Solskin was founded in 2023, offering hydrating, streak-free formulas infused with skin care ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and aloe vera.

Von Hep will advise Solskin on scaling the business and moving it internationally, as well as sharing his expertise on how to nurture retail partnerships. 

He will also act as a front-facing expert for Solskin on social media to help educate consumers on how to choose the right tanning product for them.
