Value Irish clothing retailer Primark has launched a colour cosmetics range in selected Primark stores in the UK and Ireland.
“Trends indicate that as a result of the economic climate, for shoppers who are cutting back and only buying the most essential products, beauty products are seen as affordable treats,” says Primark. “Primark’s Beautiful Colour Cosmetics range provides a cost effective solution for stylish and budget conscious women, offering great quality products at affordable prices, attractively packaging and accessible to all.”
The line has been created in collaboration with Swallowfield. Described as “edgy beautiful”, the range includes double-ended mascaras (Flirty Winks), metallic foil effect liquid liners (Foiled Again), waterproof mascara with mistake eraser (Eye Can’t Go Wrong) and an under eye concealer (Ta Ta for Now), with prices from £2 to £2.50.
