If you’ve not yet signed up for the Anti-Ageing Skin Care Conference in London next week (10-11 June, Royal College of Physicians) you have just a few days left. Subtitled ‘The quest for the fountain of youth’ the conference addresses issues key to everybody working in the research, development and marketing of anti-ageing skin care products today.
Under the able chairmanship of Jack Ferguson (Skinnovation) and Paul Matts (Procter & Gamble), dermatologists, cosmetic scientists, psychologists and others (see below for a list of speakers) will examine topics including mechanisms of ageing, perceptions of ageing and active ingredients for anti-ageing as well as claim support and borderline and regulatory issues. Concluding with a look at the longer-term future of skin rejuvenation and maintenance, the conference will confirm whether it is actually possible to attain the fountain of youth through anti-ageing products.
The event is organised by Summit Events, which also organises the popular Sun Protection conference biennially in London. SPC is sponsoring Summits Anti-Ageing Skin Care Conference 2008.
