Saltair’s parent company, The Center, is allegedly exploring a potential sale of the brand, which it founded alongside influencer and model Iskra Lawrence, according to a new report

Saltair, the body care brand co-founded by Iskra Lawrence, is allegedly exploring a potential sale following a report that parent company The Center is rumoured to be looking to divest the brand.

The potential sale was first reported by WWD, which claimed sources revealed that the brand has teamed up with investment bank Raymond James to carry out the proceedings.

It also alleges that initial bids are due soon.

The rumoured sale exploration follows a stellar year for Saltair, which saw the brand expand internationally as it entered the UK market with beauty retailer Space NK.

Saltair is reportedly on track to turn over sales in the region of US$150m in 2026, according to WWD.

The brand was founded in partnership between influencer Lawrence and incubator The Center in 2022.

Saltair’s alleged sale by The Center, backed by investment firm Prelude Growth Partners and founded by industry veteran Ben Bennett in 2020, would follow from previous brands built up by the beauty incubator.

The Center helped to launch Naturium before selling the skin care brand to e.l.f. Beauty in 2023 for $355m.

More recently, fragrance brand Phlur, built alongside Creative Director and influencer Chrishelle Lim, was sold to private equity firm TSG Consumer in 2025, with Lim and Bennet each retaining a “meaningful stake”.

Other brands under The Center include dermatologist-developed skin care brand Prequel and body care brand founded by influencer Claudia Sulewski, Cyklar.
