Perfume Holding has signed a worldwide licence agreement for the creation, development and distribution of fragrances for prestige fashion brand, Liu Jo.
The brand was founded in Italy in 1995 by two brothers, Marco and Vannis Marchi. The brand sells clothing, footwear and accessories, and is now sold in 44 countries. Last year, it posted revenues of €273m.
Commenting on the agreement, Enrico Ceccato, CEO of Perfume Holding said: "We strongly believe that Liu Jo has a tremendous potential of becoming soon a global beauty brand. Perfume Holding is proud to add a new masterpiece of Italian creativity and entrepreneurship to its portfolio. With its well balanced mix of Italian and French culture and quality, Perfume Holding will capture the real DNA of the brand and donate to Liu Jo the seduction that only fragrances can give".
VP and owner of Liu Jo, Marco Marchi, added: “We are proud to have finalised this licensing agreement, which projects Liu Jo in a highly fashion-sensitive market in terms of taste, consumer patterns and ability to build brand value. Moreover, we are confident that the partnership with Perfume Holding will enrich our brand extension strategy significantly”.
Perfume Holding's brand portfolio includes several other high end fashion labels including La Perla, John Galliano, Iceberg, Sergio Tacchini and Fiorucci.
