Peacocks debuts budget colour with Evie Glam
Affordable fashion retailer moves into make-up
The line launches this week in 250 Peacocks’ stores and online at www.peacocks.co.uk and the range will will updated regularly to reflect seasonal beauty trends.
Sarah O Shea, Peacocks’ director of accessories commented: “Fashion and beauty go hand in hand. Our customers told us they'd love to be able to come into store and get a complete outfit – and for them nail varnish and a killer lip gloss are part of the look. When we introduced beauty gift sets they flew off the shelf and customers have been asking for more so we're delighted to launch this range just in time for the party season.”
The company believes the make-up launch will strengthen its position on the high street for the latest trends in both fashion and beauty, building on its existing focus on offering customers the latest fashion looks at affordable prices and its collaboration with Pearl Lowe.
Prices for Eve Glam range from £2 for a plumping lipgloss tube and £2.50 for a glitter nail varnish to £4 for an eye palette gift set.
Peacocks has over 550 stores in the UK and employs over 5,000 people. It also has over 100 franchises in 13 countries including Turkey, the Middle East, Ukraine and Russia.
