Olivier Cresp is the Master Perfumer behind some of the most iconic scents of the last 25 years, including Angel, Thierry Mugler, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, and YSL Black Opium.

Akro is Cresp’s own niche perfume brand founded with his daughter Anaïs, and comes from the French word accro, which means addict.

Centred on the concept of the “pleasures of life”, Cresp’s fragrances for Akro have a minimalist and figurative style.

Cosmetics Business sat down with Cresp to discuss Akro’s new fragrance, Heat, his approach to creating fragrances, and his plans to grow the brand.
