The Indian beauty retailer's profits and revenues surged in the final quarter of 2026, thanks to a boost in beauty demand and investments

Nykaa owner FSN E-Commerce Ventures has ended its 2026 financial year with a bang after posting a 27% surge in Q4 profits.

The Indian beauty retailer’s profits topped ₹783.8m rupees for the quarter, compared with ₹202.8m last year, driven predominantly by its beauty division.

Revenues increased 28.4% to ₹26.48bn, and Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) reached 8.4%, up from 6.5% in Q4 last year.

Nykaa's beauty sales rose 27% amid a surge in demand and investments from the retailer, which finalised its acquisition of personal care brand Earth Rhythm during the quarter.

“With this acquisition, Nykaa through its ecosystem and expertise will further unlock Earth Rhythm’s massive potential across categories through its innovation, marketing and omnichannel distribution capabilities,” a Nykaa company statement read.

“Consumers are increasingly prioritising ingredient transparency, efficacy and conscious formulations, accelerating the shift towards clean beauty.”

Nykaa is also in talks to potentially acquire a majority stake in Indian actress Deepika Padukone’s skin care brand 82°E, according to a filing made to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).

Nykaa has also tapped into a growing demand for perfumes in India with the launch of Nykaa Perfumery, a dedicated fragrance-only retail format.

Two stores have opened in Oberoi Mall, Goregaon, and Infiniti Mall, Malad, which are being pitched as “immersive” fragrance discovery destinations.

Elsewhere in the quarter, Charlotte Tilbury opened its first-ever Indian flagship boutique with Nykaa to expand its reach in what it claims is one of the “fast-growing beauty markets”.

The Puig-owned make-up brand’s new standalone store is operated and managed end-to-end by Nykaa.

It is located in New Delhi’s prestigious luxury shopping destination, Nexus Select Citywalk, Saket, with a second standalone store opening at the Mall of India in Noida next month.
