TRI/Princeton to host Fifth International Conference on Applied Hair Science

Issues calls for papers and sponsorship


Hair and fibre research specialist TRI/Princeton has announced that its Fifth International Conference on Applied Hair Science will run from 20-21 September 2012 in Princeton, New Jersey.

The conference aims to inspire the hair care industry by providing a forum to discuss ideas, educate attendees on cutting edge techniques and methods, and connect academics, members of government and the beauty industry to enhance the quality and efficacy of future products.

Lectures will cover fundamental principles and contemporary experimental techniques, while oral presentations and poster sessions will supplement keynote lectures.

TRI also issued a call for papers on hair science and its applications for oral presentations, technical papers and poster presentations. Potential topics include novel measurement techniques, colloid and formulation chemistry, hair ageing, hair ethnicity, hair surface properties and interactions and advances in fibre science. Abstracts must be submitted by 1 May.

The company is also seeking sponsors.
