Symrise founds new Scientific Advisory Board
Board dedicated to fragrance and oral care applications
German flavours and fragrances company Symrise has announced that it has created a scientific advisory committee dedicated to fragrances and oral care application areas – the Scientific Advisory Board Fragrances and Oral Care. Internationally renowned scientists will support Symrise in applying the latest insights to innovate these two areas.
With this board, the company will continue to follow its strategy of systematically gathering input from internationally recognised scientists for its main fields. In the future Symrise says these external experts will support its researchers in incorporating new scientific insights into specific products as quickly as possible.
Dr Torsten Kulke, Symrise’s vice president global innovations fragrances and oral care, commented: “With the founding of this Scientific Advisory Board, Symrise continues to encourage open innovation and take aim at three objectives.
“Firstly generating ideas for value-adding approaches in our cooperation with external experts. Secondly, we can identify relevant technological developments at an early stage and thereby tap future product potential. And thirdly we can react quickly to various global impulses in the assorted research areas thanks to the advisory board’s supplemental expertise.”
