Air Liquide Healthcare-owned ingredients supplier Seppic has inaugurated its first production site in the US.
The plant, which is already in operation, has provided France-headquartered Seppic with more than 50% additional production capacity for thickening and texturising agents.
Located near Richmond, Virginia, the site is said to be ideally located to service the north-eastern US, where 80% of Seppic’s US customers are based, as well as to export globally.
The facility has been designed to abide by the highest levels of quality in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and has obtained ISO 9001, EFfCI and RSPO certifications.
