Distributor of specialty chemicals snaps up the Polish personal care distributor

Safic-Alcan Poland, a subsidiary of the Safic-Alcan Group, has acquired Polish distributor Cosmetics Partner.

Cosmetics Partner is a distributor of natural personal care ingredients including actives, extracts and extract complexes, vegetable oils and butters, essential oils, scrubs and dyes.

Safic-Alcan Poland, based in Warsaw, aims to focus on diversifying its range of personal care ingredients in the region. It operates two warehouses in Gdansk and Tychy.

Philippe Combette, CEO of the Safic-Alcan Group, said: “This acquisition will reinforce our presence in Eastern Europe, strengthen relationships with some key suppliers and provide a solid platform for further growth in the Polish personal care market.”
