Beauty and lifestyle brand Rituals has opened its first store on California’s west coast at the Westfield UTC.
The store will offer a a broad selection of the brand's beauty products as well as activities and consultations for customers.
The brand currently has 11 stores in New York, including one on 5th Avenue.
Marjolein Westerbeek President of Rituals USA, said: “Our west coast expansion is a very meaningful moment in our brand narrative.
“The community here on the west cost adopted the wellness philosophy very early on and we have loyalists here who have been eagerly asking us to bring the Rituals ‘slow down’ movement here to California.”
She added: “We feel very welcomed already and are thrilled to be connecting our brand footprint with an ever expanding audience.”
Rituals’ collections have been inspired by ancient traditions of Eastern cultures including the Japan’s Sakura, China’s Dao, Turkey’s Hammam and India’s Ayurveda.
General Manager at Westfield UTC, Ryan Perry, said: “We are excited to welcome Rituals to our impressive line-up of first-to-market retailers.
“The brand is bringing mindful relaxation to La Jolla residents and aligns well with Westfield UTC’s resort-inspired transformation.”
