Rhodia expands production capabilities in Asia
Expansion of Zhenjiang site a result of growing local demand
Speciality chemicals company Rhodia has opened three new production units at its Zhenjiang plant in China. The new units will cater for Rhodia’s Novecare speciality surfactants and polymers and Aroma Performance Guaiacol and IBCH products and have been developed to meet the growing demand from local customers, as well as increasing service levels, delivery and response times, according to the company.
The new sites have also been built in adherence to Rhodia’s commitment to sustainable development and will significantly reduce waste water, salt production and air emissions.
