Published: 7-Jun-2016

UK shopping channel is on the hunt for new beauty brands for third year running

The UK’s leading shopping channel QVC is opening its Find a Beauty Brand contest for a third year running and is accepting entries from 8 June.

The competition, in association with CEW gives brands the chance to bypass the queues to sell products on QVC’s highly competitive beauty roster, while enjoying the support of its expert team.

‘Find a Beauty Brand’ has proved hugely successful in previous years, with winners going on to great success with the retailer.

Last year, QVC’s judges, which included Pure Beauty’s Editor Laura Husband were so impressed with the calibre of the entries that two winners were chosen – nail care brand Little Online and skin care brand NIOD. Both winners proved to be a big hit with viewers and had sell-out lines in their first shows.

Competition winners receive three guaranteed on-air appearances on the live QVC Channel, plus a one hour show on QVC Beauty. This is supported by a feature on the QVC website, and followed up with a stand at the 2017 Customer Beauty Event, which is attended by over 5,000 QVC customers.

Sandra Vallow, Director of Buying – Beauty, QVC says: “QVC thrives on offering customers the newest and most innovative beauty brands, while also supporting up and coming talent in the industry. Our ‘Find a Beauty Brand’ competition has proven the perfect way to do both and we’re hugely excited to launch it for a third year.“
