Who was crowned the best in beauty at the third annual Pure Beauty Global Awards ceremony?

It's that time of year, when Pure Beauty celebrates the best in cosmetics from around the world. Our panel of experts – with some help from the editorial team – spent months whittling 631 products down to the worthy winners.

The Pure Beauty Global Awards 2020, now in its third year, enlisted the help of British Beauty Council CEO Millie Kendall, A-list hairstylist Lorraine Dublin and the director of International Fragrance Association Lisa Hipgrave to select the winners across 39 categories and 33 countries.

Alongside these industry heavyweights, fellow judges included NARS Senior Make-up Artist Clayton Reid, celebrity facialist Nichola Joss and natural hair pioneer Amaya Smith, and many more.

From well-established houses who have stood the test of time to forward- thinking indies here to shake up the industry, Pure Beauty only celebrates the best in the business. These chosen few are now part of an elite club that enables them to bear the Pure Beauty Global Awards logo, helping them to flout their credentials to buyers, distributors and consumers.

We were unable to host our prestigious ceremony in-person this year, due to social distancing rules, but that didn't stop more than 900 people from tuning in to our live awards webcast hosted by Pure Beauty and Cosmetics Business Editor Lucy Tandon-Copp.

"In times of uncertainty, the beauty industry's community spirit thrives by helping others and bringing daily doses of joy when it's needed the most," says Tandon-Copp.

"While we couldn't be together to celebrate the best in beauty this year, I would like to thank everyone who tuned in to support their industry peers at our virtual festival of colours ceremony."
