Founder Vivian Lau wanted to create a range with high-performance ingredients to calm and protect skin

New brand Vitruvian Man has launched across the UK to bring high performance, organic skin care products to the male grooming market.

The 3-sku product line-up features an Anti-Pollution Cleanser and Toner (£28 each), blended with coconut, ginger and nut grass to help combat dryness.

Meanwhile, its Resurrection Cream (£42) features zinc oxide and pongamia seed oil designed to protect skin from UV rays and environmental elements.

Founder Vivian Lau created the brand after studying Chemistry and Fine Arts in the UK.

She was inspired to explore the science of natural ingredients and organic remedies after a friend started to suffer from bad skin.

“My light-bulb moment for creating Vitruvian Man came when one of my close friends was experiencing high work pressure and as a result he developed skin allergies and depression,” said Lau.

“I realised from his personal experience, my friends and that of my own, that how we feel inside intrinsically influences the way we look on the outside and becomes particularly evident in the skin.”

As part of the brand’s philanthropic work it will donate 3% of all proceeds to charities helping men and women suffering with mental health issues.

Products will be available from vitruvian-man.com.
