New beauty brand La La Leaf has become the latest brand to tap into the CBD trend.

Its range of skin care products are infused with CBD to help heal inflammation, sun exposure, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Included in the line-up is a Guayaquil Hemp Lotion (US$65), Tru Athlete Sports Gel ($75) and Formula 1513 Antioxidant Cream ($90).

The products are also blended with rosehip seed oil, pro-vitamin B5, white camphor oil and meadowfoam seed oil.

La La Leaf’s founder Michael Faiella said he had been following the CBD trend whip through the beauty scene before deciding to create his own line.

Formerly Director of Business Development at private lending firm LendingOne, this is the first time the finance-graduate has broken into the beauty category.

“We’re really excited by the end products, which have undergone extensive testing,” said Faiella.

“Every La La Leaf product includes a QR code you can scan to assure you that it has the stated amount of CBD, and is also free from other harmful metals chemicals and THC.

“Ultimately, we’re offering a premium, transparent, natural skin care line that people can feel good about using.”
