LG H&H Americas appoints first female CEO

Hyeyoung Moon will lead the Korean beauty conglomerate’s North American division

LG H&H Americas, the North American division of Korea’s largest consumer goods company, has appointed its first female boss.

Hyeyoung Moon will oversee all of LG H&H Americas’ business, including LG H&H USA, Avon and Boinca, the maker of Arctic Fox hair colour. 

Moon has previously held management roles at Amazon Business – most recently as Global Head of Marketing, based in Seattle – and Starbucks.

“I am honoured to lead LG H&H Americas,” said Moon.

“I look forward to working alongside our many talented teams to pave the way for growth and success driving a new era of innovation in the beauty and personal care space.”

Additionally, LG H&H Americas has promoted Liza Maldonado to Head of Direct Selling for the US, Puerto Rico and Caribbean.

Maldonado was most recently General Manager for Avon Puerto Rico and Caribbean.
