Intertek signs agreement with Saudi Food and Drug Authority

Conformity Assessment Agreement enables import of cosmetic products


Intertek has announced it has signed an agreement with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) to provide Conformity Assessment services for the import of cosmetic products into the Kingdom. The new Conformity Assessment Agreement will see Intertek provide a certificate of conformity for products which is a mandatory requirement for customs clearance in Saudi Arabia.

“We are delighted that the SDFA has appointed us to provide this service as leaders on the field of cosmetics testing, clinical research, analysis and certification which enables us to bring a lot of added value though expertise to both the industry and the SFDA,” commented David Gregory, vp government services, Intertek.
