It's safe to say, Feelunique is an online beauty retail force to be reckoned with.

The e-tailer sells more than 15,000 products every day, with 65% of sales coming from customers under the age of 35 and boasts the title of Europe’s largest online beauty retailer.

Today, 13 years after it first launched, it stocks more than 32,000 products across 500 brands catering for consumers looking to buy make-up, skin care, hair care, fragrance and electricals.

But what does it take for a beauty brand to join Feelunique's ranks? Here the e-tailer's Beauty Buyer, Sian Johnson, talks to Cosmetics Business about the brands she has recently brought on-board, why the time has come for indie brands and how you can catch her eye...


What does your day-to-day role involve?
The amazing thing about my job is every day is different – it really does depend on what we have on at the time, which in turn means you have to be completely flexible and reactive whilst ensuring you have the best communication with all different teams!

The most important part of my job is to meet with our brand partners and build a 6-12 month plan with them for the year.

Working to not only run the best offers & promotions for events but also to build the business together in what can be a challenging market with our partnered beauty brand. We source and find the newest and most exciting brands to list with Feelunique.
