Pleasing, the beauty brand by Harry Styles, has hired its first CEO to boost expansion.

Shaun Kearney will join as chief executive of Pleasing from 17 July after six years at Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop

Kearney most recently served as Chief Design & Merchandising Officer of Goop and has previously held a leadership role at celebrity-brand incubator TechStyle Fashion Group.

Rihanna's Fenty x Savage and Kate Hudson's Fabletics are among TechStyle Fashion Group's portfolio.

"His exceptional vision and extensive experience will be invaluable as we enter the next chapter of Pleasing," said Styles about Kearney's appointment.

"We are excited to continue to explore ideas, categories, and characters alongside him.”

Kearney is also tasked with developing "strategic" alongside charity partnerships for Pleasing to boost the brand's presence and collaboration portfolio.

"We have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and expand our product offering through many different lifestyle verticals and multiple channels of business," said the new CEO.

Kearney will join Pleasing's co-Creative Directors Harry Lambert and Molly Hawkins, and Head of Marketing Sophie Kerr-Dineen.

Pleasing launched in 2021 and focuses on nail and skin care, alongside branded apparel.

The brand's first-ever collaboration was unveiled in September 2022 with Brazilian designer Marco Ribeiro and saw Pleasing expand into make-up.

As part of the brand's first anniversary celebrations, Pleasing opened three pop-ups worldwide in London, New York and Los Angeles.
