Unlike fake tan lotions, the light formula has been designed for daily use, to gradually build up colour for a natural-looking glow or to enhance and extend an existing tan. The gentle formulation gives a hint of colour within four to six hours and can be used instead of a daily moisturiser on the face and neck.
Gradual Tan Moisturiser's key actives include: alpha glucan oligosaccharide, obtained from natural sugars and added to protect, restore and balance the healthy eco flora of the skin; rosehip seed oil, an excellent source of bioflavonoids and vitamin C to protect, strengthen and restore a healthy skin barrier and promote tissue regeneration; and dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a tanning agent derived from sugar that reacts with the amino acids in the outer layer of the skin to form brown pigments and give a non-streaky, natural colour.
Gradual Tan Moisturiser is priced at £13.95 and available through stockists and at greenpeople.co.uk from the end of April.
