The new TriP line, launched at MakeUp in Paris, aims to bridge the gap between nature and technology

Cosmetic pencils and pens specialist Faber-Castell Cosmetics has introduced a new line inspired by the metaverse for summer 2023.

Its TriP range is described as a “fusion of the psychedelic and hyper natural” and combines natural ingredients, like mushrooms and hemp seed oil, with extravagant effects for an “alien like” finish.

Bright and neon shades are combined with cool hues of metallic black, shiny silver and white pearlescent.

Meanwhile the vegan product range is said to promote a variety of innovations. For example, the body marker is a first-of-its-kind using water based pigmented ink in pearly colours.

Also new to the market is the multichromatic eyeliner and kajal, showcasing a long lasting formula with 100% ingredients of natural origin.

Highlights of the TriP line-up include a shimmering waterproof lip gloss, which comes in a hygienic click applicator and which contains chilli extract for a lip-plumping effect. Meanwhile, the natural cellulose fibres in the waterproof wooden brow pencil offer precise application to fill in any gaps.
