Boosting its print capabilities to support growing demand driven by the personalised gifting market

Epic Print has purchased a new die-cutting machine as part of a move to streamline production and enhance quality.

Director Mark Downey says the strategic investment provides “superb quality and shorter response times” for customers.

The Horizon RD-4055 DM is designed to simultaneously die-cut and crease/score short-run work from both sides of the sheet. This enables quicker turnaround times yet maintains excellent quality.

Clients in the beauty and cosmetics, food, and confectionery industries will especially benefit from the new equipment because it caters to the booming demand for personalised gifts and products.

As Mark explains: “The rotary die-cutter with its smaller sheet size, footprint, and great embossing detail provides flexibility and cost-effective production (whilst delivering superior quality). It’s perfect for secondary packaging: small boxes, sleeves, tags and label.

"We’re delighted to support one of our key clients in their first venture into personalised packaging – where the shape of the sleeve remains common but the message printed on each is unique to every customer.”

Epic Print are committed to investing in the latest technology to ensure customers benefit from the best the industry has to offer.
