Skin care brand Elicina has launched its snail mucin creams on retail giant Amazon.
The brand already distributes to more than 45 countries and it key ingredients is derived from Helix Aspersa Muller snails, which are native to Chile, South America.
“Elicina products have anti-ageing effects ranging from helping to remove wrinkles and blemishes, to helping repair scar tissue, burns and reducing acne,” said Paula Bascunan, General Manager at Elicina.
“We offer different products for different skin types -creams with added moisturisers like aloe vera for people with extra-dry skin, hypoallergenic creams for people with sensitive skin,” she added.
Included in the collection is Eco Elicina XT Eye Cream, Eco Elicina Nourishing Cream, Eco Elicina Plus Moisturising Cream, Eco Elicina Pocket Moisturising Cream, Eco Elicina Pocket Nourisihing Cream and the new Neck Cream AV.
According to Elicina, the mucin contains hyaluronic acid, glycoprotein enzymes, proteoglycans and antimicrobial copper peptides - all of which are said to contain anti-inflammatory properties.
